2025 Membership Registration is Now Open
Fees are due by March 1, 2024
The Club is permitted to sell a limited number of memberships per year. Members have privileges to use the clubhouse, pools and tennis/pickleball courts. To reserve court time you must be an active paid member and be registered on CourtReserve.com the court reservation site for the Club.

For all membership categories, there will be a 3.5% credit card fee added if paying by credit card through the website
Sustaining Members
2025 - $905
Current owners of the 404 original Bennet (mid-century modern) homes in Carderock Springs are Sustaining Type 1 members.
New homeowners must pay a one-time $1000 activation fee. If the owners choose not to activate their membership in the year of purchase, they may choose to do so in any following year.
In addition to the activation fee, annual dues must be paid in order to for the home owner to be an active for that calendar year. If annual dues are not paid for the calendar year the home owner will be inactive, but can reactivate their membership the following year as long as their activation fee was paid in the past.
Families who are renting one of these homes are also eligible for Sustaining Type 1 membership (with limited voting rights). If a home is purchased for rental purposes, the same fees apply in order for the tenants to take advantage of the club.
Senior Membership
2025 - $715
All household members must be 55 + years of age and reside within the Carderock Community.
Allows unlimited use of the facilities throughout the season.
Not available for Annual members.
Annual Members
2025 - $1150
All members who do not hold or are not eligible for Sustaining Memberships Type 1 are considered Annual Members. Annual Members do not have voting rights and must return to the waiting list if they go inactive for a year.
The waiting list for Annual Memberships is made available in the following order or priority:
- Residents in neighborhoods in the Carderock sub-division;
- In the immediate vicinity of the Carderock Springs and Carderock Springs South neighborhoods;
- Residents of the Whitman school district
- All others. We do not have senior rates for Annual Members.
Annual Members must also pay a $500 Activation Fee the first year they join.
Active Annual members of the Club for 15+ consecutive years may buy a Sustaining Type 1 membership after paying a non-refundable $1000.00 activation fee and then are eligible for the same rates that current Sustaining 1 membership allows. (including Senior at age 55+ and Emeritus at age 65+).
Emeritus Privileges
2025 - $200
To encourage the participation of senior citizens in the community who are Sustaining Members Type 1 but do not wish to purchase a full senior membership, we are offering Emeritus Guest Privileges. This privilege, which will permit the occasional use of the facilities, are limited to Sustaining Members Type 1 households having no more than two persons, at least one of whom is 65 years old or older. Each senior member of the household may purchase an Emeritus Guest Privilege at membership renewal time that will entitle the holder to 15 days use of the club’s facilities. Emeritus Guest Memberships are not transferable among family members. Guests of Emeritus memberships (e.g., visiting grandchildren) are still required to pay the regular guest fees.

In order to encourage potential applicants and give them a chance to become familiar with the swim and tennis club, we offer a Preview Guest Privilege. This will allow use of all the facilities beginning August 1. This preview of the club is a ONE TIME ONLY privilege that may not be repeated for other members of any household who has declined an invitation to purchase a membership,
Guest Fees
A guest fee of $8.00 per person age 1 and above must be paid at the front desk prior to use of the facility. We now offer payment through Square. Scan the posted QR code at the front desk. Cash and Check payment also accepted.
A guest fee of $8.00 per guest using the Tennis/Pickleball courts must also be paid. Payment via PayPal, Venmo or Credit Card of choice now available for members and guest. QR Code and instructions for use are posted on the Tennis Office window.
If paying by cash or check, envelopes are available at the bulletin board outside the tennis office and can be deposited in the mailbox on the wall to the left of the front entrance door of the clubhouse
ALL GUEST MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE MEMBER HOST.
